A Global Journey In Sports
Behind every project, there’s a story

Olympique Marseille International Development Manager 2015-2020
Marseille – Where It All Started
I left Spain at 19 full of dreams, curiosity and a vague idea that I wanted to work in sports. After finishing my master’s degree in France, I landed at Olympique de Marseille, one of Europe’s most iconic football clubs. What started as an internship turned into six intense, unforgettable years as International Development Manager.
From launching academies in Africa to organizing preseason tours for the first team under André Villas-Boas in the U.S. and Europe, I had a front-row seat to the global side of football. But what truly shaped me was the city itself. Marseille isn’t just a place, it’s a character. The bond between the people and the club is raw and real. The Velodrome on a Sunday night? Pure madness, in the best way possible.
Even now, I try to catch at least one match a year. It’s my little pilgrimage. Marseille taught me everything: how to navigate politics, how to manage pressure, and, importantly, how to survive on espresso and adrenaline during transfer windows.

NBA Head of Events & Operations, Basketball Africa League 2020-2022
The NBA & Africa: A Dream, a Leap, and a Lifetime of Lessons
Joining the NBA was a dream come true—and then came the twist: I moved to Africa to help launch the Basketball Africa League. Plot twist: we did it during a global pandemic. Nothing like trying to set up a pan-African league while airports are shut and curfews are everywhere. I still followed my heart and curiosity.
As Head of Events & Operations, I got to help build something special from scratch—designing arenas, setting up logistics across five countries (Senegal, Rwanda, Egypt, Morocco, South Africa), working with governments, Federations, broadcasters—you name it.
It was wild. It was hard. And it was absolutely life-changing. I came out of those years with a deep respect for the continent, its potential, and its people. I also came out of it with a few grey hairs and a collection of unforgettable stories. This chapter deserves its own book someday.

Paris Basketball Executive Vice-President, Strategy 2022-2025
Paris Basketball – The City of Lights
Returning to France with Paris Basketball was like coming full circle, but with a fresh twist. I was drawn in by the allure of one of the sexiest brands in European basketball—a team launched in 2018 by dynamic American owners and on the brink of moving into a brand new arena right before the Olympics.
What followed was a rollercoaster of growth: expanding the front office, shaping the club’s long-term vision, pushing the brand toward European relevance. And then—bam—we won our first European title in 2024. It was huge. Emotional. And maybe slightly chaotic behind the scenes (but we’ll keep that between us). That win punched our ticket to the EuroLeague, and suddenly Paris Basketball wasn’t just a cool project— it’s redefining what European basketball can look like.
